BHX emergency - smoke in cockpit !

New this month to the Birmingham ATC website is "Are you declaring an Emergency?

This is an individual account from a Pilot or an Air Traffic Controller about an emergency they have experienced. This is by no means an official representation but more an individual recollection of events.

The objective is to help others learn from real life accounts, increase awareness of each others roles and create a better understanding thoughout. This is not meant to be a "blame culture", treat it as food for thought !
