EGCC ATIS
Hi all,
Does anybody know of a phone number to get through to Manchester International (EGCC) ATIS? This would be very helpful! (I have Newcastle's - you get an answerphone message, and are then directed to the service, similar one for Manchester needed!).

Manchester "ATIS" is an automated met Broadcast.
If you mean AIS, MA plc run an automated Self Briefing Unit.
If you want Flight Planning [PAFTN] then it's 0161 499 5502

Good point,
I'm surprised that every airport doesn't have a dedicated 0870 number with the atis on a continual loop. Could tie it in with the last 4 figures reflecting the airport code.

Hi,
It was the automated weather service, for Manchester, I wanted. Its where you ring the number, and then diverted to the weather service, as if listening over the radio - very helpful to check weather at home before driving to the airport!
