The site is registered to Andy Buckner,Manchester.
You are Bucky01 from Manchester.

I'll let the audience decide if there are any similarities!
And I didn't call you any names.

Glad you're getting the blame,jabird!

LOL

Have filled in an email inquiry, so am waiting for their response, or should that be your response ?

I wasn't digging at you personally, merely pointing out that anyone can set up a website very cheaply.

I did post a link to the site for reference, but assume it was moderated under the no ad rule. Sorry Hawk, but I have no connections with this outfit! Understood if their url still can't be mentioned, but fairly easy to work out for anyone who wants to have a go.

By the way that bucky01 has answered and reacted to all the questions and statements above it certainly looks like he is responsible for this.....

Ah, it's gratifying to see how influential PPRUNE can be...

Following on from recent comments here about the ...er, "uncanny" similarities between the Skyblueatlantic website text and the flyWho text, the former has now changed:
seat pitch of 35inch for those passengers in the rear cabin, and a second to none business service, later times of travel so you wont hit the rush hour traffic. A first class cabin crew Our cabin crew taking care of you in the way that things used to be done.
And that's not all! The rear cabin pax now have an extra inch of legroom, up from 34" yesterday to 35" today! Now that's what I call "the way that things used to be done"! A few more comments on PPRUNE and the rear cabin will be up to 38 inches, just like flyWho!

PS Bucky01: perhaps you could pass the message on that the website would look still more professional if you...sorry, I mean if the website owner were to put the apostrophe in "won't" and fix the run-on first sentence and the grammar in the second sentence. We're only trying to help, you know.

Oshkosh George: you can get free fax-to-email services, typically with an 0871 prefix (e.g.here ) ...er, just like Skyblueatlantic in fact - now there's a coincidence. So the demonstrable infrastructure investment so far is rather low.

That said, it seems that this Andy Buckner may have some previous... experience in the travel field. A google search pulls up this site which includes the following:

Name: andy buckner
Site Name: debt management, guaranteed credit cards and bank accounts us and uk, usa
Website: http://www.gbfsoloutions.us-site.com
Location: manchester and orlando - - uk and us office
Date: Tue February 11, 2003 6:16 AM

we can supply and guarantee---
debt management solutions,
bank accounts in the us. uk and worldwide,
guaranteed credit cards,
second passports,
travel visa services,
green card information,
loans
flights and travel insurance
Referred By: andy buckner
Referred By's Webpage: http://gbfsoloutions.us-site.com
The website doesn't work, but then "solutions" can be a difficult word to spell anyway, a bit like "plagiarism"

I thought that too,but needed 11 for the jury!

They/he didn't reply ro MY enquiry!

This is interesting! This was google's second find on searching for skyblueatlantic! Have a look around the pages here. It definately looks like a previous attempt at a website.

Definately GUILTY!!!

Incredibly unprofessional response there!!! Almost laughable!

Also, Scotland? Flybe and Air Wales pretty much have that covered, think they need to learn a bit about the markets available first!

A long conversation with a start-up airline trying to get info off them, would be a pointless task, thats like trying to get milk out of a horse! First thing you learn about the aviation industry, is that plans are kept underwraps until the airline's are ready for it all to become public.

Transatlantic flights from LPL

After hearing several rumours regarding LPL-JFK flights, It really defies belief that LPL Airport are seeking transatlantic flights. The airport is already stretched to the limit with congested check-in and arrival halls, lack of terminal parking stands at peak times of the day and a runway in desperate need of repair. The recent expansion of FLYBE and Ryanair out of John Lennon really is excellent news for the airport and the North-West region in general, and I hope the airport continues to go from strength to strength. However I Have strong reservations as to whether the airport will be able to cope with the excessive amount of flights this summer.

Buddy,

I concur with your views in general - this summer will be particularly interesting to watch from an operational delivery point of view.

Fafftastic post Buddy!

Never mind the airport not being able to cope, what about ATC !?

Bussing in a load of inexperienced TWR onlys to make up the numbers.......they're gonna have fun on the summer weekends .........

Liverpool will be rather hectic early in the day this summer, but by 8.30 the ramp will be empty. The staff needed for the rush will then have little to do.

There is space at Liverpool for non based planes.

The airport should be looking for such business.
