Strike!! Be Warned.

Be warned!!!

Most of the transport unions, civil service, electricity, gas, post office, banks etc. have posted notice of a strike from Wednesday 9th. evening until Friday 11th. morning covering the whole of France.

I know, some clever dick is going to post a "so what's new" comment!!

So what- will anyone notice anything different (joke)? It's a complete mystery how France can appear so comparatively successful with its record of low weekly work hours, extraordinary lunch breaks, high alcohol consumption, high benefits and social costs, closing up for August, lunatic driving, excessive smoking, disgusting cheese, expensive beer and amazing bikinis. It's almost enough to make one jealous.

Me thinks the French are right and the rest of us have succumbed to a niggardly 'wage slave' way of life.

The problem is that over the years people have seen that the French method has reaped success. Certainly from the ATC point of view , with present management methods , the French solution is seen as the only way out ..... at least from a central European/international point of view ..... be warned . It's looming ..... I hope , and I'm not militant .
