Lack of stands/ Ground collision @ IOM

Does anyone know where abouts the minor gound incident accured on the airfield? Was it on stands 8/9? When heard it on the radio, sounded like it happened on the actual taxiway!

Thankfully there was no damage to either aircraft and more importantly no injury to the occupants on both aircraft

If it was on stands 8/9 - maybe it proves the argument the quicker the work can get started on the new stands the better - even the work has been delayed due to some wild orchids or summit growing in the intended area to be bulldozed, with work not expected to start now until August 1st!

Happy flying dudes!

From what it said on the radio it was the 2 freighters. The 748 clipped the anatov or summit. The sooner work gets under way with the new stands the better, just flew in from brum with Eastern and we got relegated to the dark sides of stand 1, but 3rd in line after the inbound atr from GLA and one of the F-50's from LPL....the sooner they get the trowel out the better!

happy flying dudes!
