Interesting A380 Article

This is an interesting story, i look at a few aviation boards and as a whole most Americans are against the A380, id love to know why they have such an negative opinion of any aircraft thats not American. I personally think the A380 will be a good aircraft, as im sure the Boeing 787 will be. I think it may be a touch of the green eyed monster in the fact that its European, bit like the Concorde.
Just my two pence worth.

There does seem to be a lot of negativity surrounding the entire A380 project. Is it because it is so new?
Maybe it will be better when it is reinvented across the pond!! ( That is a joke - no abuse pls!!!)
I wasn't about when the 747 came into service, was it the same for the first a/c with 2 floors?
I hope it is succesful; just disappointed I won't see it unless I'm a passenger.
