CI Airport Charges
In a commercial environment where airlines are retailers and the bean counters rule the roost, Im somewhat perplexed by airport charges at JER and GCI for RPT flights.
Unlike most mainland UK airports where you can get a commercial deal, the states are still charging by a weight / pax algorithm (same to every operator I believe), can someone correct me on what the charges are?

The charges are £6.05 for each arriving and departing pax so £12.10 for round trip. The fee for arriving ad departing a/c over 3000kgs is approx £4 per 1000kgs. for example a DC3 weighing 13000kgs would cost £104 total to come in and go out. Also charges vary for parking, and mail/freight flights. The airport director has the authority to waive and airport charges for instance, charity flights. I hope this is of some use. I believe a list of charges can be obtained from Jersey airport on request.

Thanks very useful. I heard £13/1000kgs for a/c >3000kgs OEM but maybe Im wrong. Do you know if thats the same at GCI? I know for instance you can get approx half the prices you mentioned in mainland UK. Given the charges are somewhat "fixed", CI data should hopefully be more in the "public" domain.
