I was informed that the new lighting associated with the new taxyways was not functioning correctly.
If the taxyways are now open they must have sorted out all the lighting. Good. About time- and the annoying ATIS can be changed.

I suspect that at busy times of the day, full length departures will be preferred to reduce the vortex wake separation where this is the more limiting factor on the SIDs flow rate.

There was a delay due to problems with the taxiway lighting but as you can tell these have been fixed and all is now open and serviceable.
Most aircraft can expect to depart from the full length, A1 or D1 dependant on runway direction. If requested C1 will still be used but when busy this will probably be denied so that the taxiways behind are not blocked.
