Wow! Incredible news!

Easyjet, Ryanair etc must be worried sick. The mention of Emb 145's is enough on its own to put the fear of God into them!

PS. Hows the "expansion" at NEMA going, then?

Ezy and Fr do not fly to Ema from Par or Nce so why should it worry them?Bmi regional are not out to scare Ezy or Fr either.Only to take back a business route that did not warrant a 148 seat aircraft 2 times per day, just as in the case of Bru.At least on both these routes a multiple rotation per day will be in operation giving business passengers a choice and an option to change flights. Now Fr and Ezy cant do that at Ema....................

WW's flights to CDG, BRU & NCE will all be operated by bmi regional by ERJ-145s this summer, and at the moment flights are showing up only online on the bmibaby website, but an announcement should be made shortly from mainline.

With 2-based ERJ-145s at NEMA this summer to operate 4xdaily BRU & 3xdaily CDG and only 2xweekly NCE, does this not leave a number of gaps in the timetable? Does anyone know if regional will be filling up the gaps with low-load factor baby routes like Bordeaux?

My guess is baby will eventually pull out of cities it shares with mainline, to focus on BHX. MAN/MME & definately EMA will go to regional or mainline.

If Baby pull out of cities they share with mainline, what will happen to Belfast routes - if MME/MAN/EMA go to mainline would they operate from BHD leaving only BHX/CWL operating from BFS with Baby?

Which would make more sense on many levels - mainline serve LHR 8 x daily from BHD, but not MAN, where BD have their long-haul hub. BACX's current service could be an easy first target as part of a wider BMI service from BHD.

The Air Wales operated Baby flights to CWL are much better suited to BHD: FlyBe has shown the way on domestic regional routes; BHD-CWL with Awyr Cymru's ATRs would make sense.

Not heard of BMI expansion....possibly the opposite? The only BMI aircraft that im aware of that can land at PLH is the one ATR-42 leased off someone else for LBA-LCY? otherwise forget it......

No chance of BMI mainlineinto PLH as mentioned,I believe even on "hot" days etc for affecting a/c performance that a Q400 would have difficulites.
