Continental in Scotland
Taken from BBC News:
Continental Airlines has announced plans to increase the number of flights it operates between Scotland and New York.
From June, the airline will provide 11 flights a week from Glasgow - an increase of four from previous summers.
Edinburgh will be served by 10 flights a week, an increase of three.
The new schedules are timed to connect with a network of other flights in the US, Canada and Latin America.

I think I read that it would be all 757 rather than 764 at Glasgow.
Also heard MAN would be getting a 764 instead of 777 as they wanted to concentrate the 777s on USA-Asian routes.

Rumour at GLA is that the first flight of the day will be a 757 and the second a 764.
Not sure if the 75 will be an overnight stop or will arrive in the wee small hours.

The flights will be with the 757 only, both flights arrive and depart in the morning. The main reason behind this equipment being used is a lack of widebody aircraft with the recent expansion, still 3 757 flights a day between GLA/EDI is quite impressive. Incidently CO with be using winglet equipped aircraft on the new scandanavian routes and possibly the British routes as well.
The rumour is that the AA Boston service has been put back until next year, but that still leaves YYZ, EWR, ORD and PHL schedules for the summer from scotlands biggest city.
