New A380 customer: UPS

As part of a deal to reduce the number of A300s it has on order, UPS has reached a deal with Airbus to reduce the number of A300s from 90 to 53, with the last 13 (it currently has 40) to be delivered by July 06.

It has also ordered 10 A380s, within a week of the rollout of the new Airbus type.

Who said good news comes in small packages!

Who else has A300 orders? With the A330-200/300, A350-700/900 and A340-300/500/600, I guess 2006 will be the end of the A300 line then?

There are some other far east 306F orders, plus BEagle's 310MRTT

This is also on freight dogs,
Basically there are about 20 A300 freighters still on order for UPS and Air Hong Kong/DHL Not much beyond 2007 for the line at the moment.
