Euromanx Update
The flights to LCY seem to be a bit of a mystery. As of today (9 January) the LCY official website is stating that Flybe flights LCY-IOM cease on 9 January and they are still "actively trying to source a replacement".
Meanwhile the Euromanx official website is merrily offering 3 flights a day from tomorrow, flight Nos 0801-0810, to book on for the route.
One of them must surely be wrong !

A Dornier 328JET is now being mentioned aswell.
From LCY website
"The Avro RJ and Dornier 328 Jets due for delivery also in late January will take over the route by February, complemented by weekend services with its 32-seat Dornier 328Jet."
Any idea where Euromanx will be getting the Dornier from?

The cock-up seems to be on the LCY website www.londoncityairport.com which on a range of pages this morning states:
"Belfast & Isle of Man Update
Flybe has informed us that the Belfast service will be ceasing as from 9th January and will not be re-commencing. The Isle of Man service stops on the same day, but London City Airport is actively sourcing another operator for this service."
and then this:
"Expanding regional airline EuroManx will commence flights between London City Airport and the Isle of Man on Monday 10 January, offering lead in fares of £99 return, including taxes. Flights will commence initially with an ATR-42, wet-leased from Air Atlantique of Coventry, UK, as EuroManx prepares to accept its first of two BAE SYSTEMS Avro RJ70s at the end of January. The Avro RJ and Dornier 328 Jets due for delivery also in late January will take over the route by February, complemented by weekend services with its 32-seat Dornier 328Jet."
Then the website shows 3W flights on the live arrivals page but only from Belfast City.
And finally on the schedule pages shows Flybe IOM flights continuing until March.
Tea and biscuits for the IT guy with the airport manager perhaps ?

Heya ppl,
As far as I know, EMX are taking over FlyBE's routes to LCY from this month, not too sure when as dates keep beign changed, they will be using the ATR to start but then the RJ and 328 will be taking over when they get here, i will be off down the airport (EGNS) soon to take some pics of the aicraft so if they dont appear by feb I will let all on here know !!
Also, I think as soon as we start gettin profit from the LCY routes, the denim air and other operators loaning a/c to EMX will be taking there a/c back as EMX will be FINALLY operating it's own aircraft.

Maybe they'll keep both Stansted & London City?
Stansted being flown by Denim Air with Denim Air callsigns whilst LCY is (currently) flowmn by Air Atlantic with Atlantic callsigns.
Any plans for Denim to aquire certification for City ops?

Anyone know ?
I'm just getting a bit lost, team, about a couple of things, grateful for any clarification.
Comments in the post above that the Denim Air F50 has both operated on the route and is not certified for it.
Comment also about a Metroliner, which I believe is not certified for LCY.
Regarding using a Navajo Chieftain, there was certainly what sounded like one took off into the low cloud over LCY (and over chateau WHBM) this morning (Saturday). Was this the Euromanx operation ? Must be quite a long haul for one.
I see the Euromanx website now has the LCY schedules.
Thanks for any updates.

I think everyone is a bit lost now about who/what euromanx actually is!
If, as their website says, they are a "ticket provider for Denim Air", are all passengers issued with Denim Air tickets and are the Air Atlantic ATR and Metro operating for them under Denim Air's licence - for example what insurance cover has the passenger got - Denim's or Air Atlantics? Do they issue different tickets depending on who they have leased in for the route (which must get confusing as Glasgow and Dublin seem to mix beween Denim and Atlantic...). Also, a friend in a travel agency has told me that when you book a euromanx flight, the reservation system (Galio?) does not tell you who the operator actually is which apparently it is supposed to do if the operator is not the airline in the flight number? I'm not sure about this but, like a previous poster said, the quicker Euromanx get their own aircraft, crews and licinces, the better for all.

The Metroliner, Pa31 & Fokkers have been operating the IOM to Belfast route NOT the London route.
The IOM to London City route is currently being flown by Air Atlantique using Atlantics licence. They can't use Denim Airs licence for this route as Denim do not have clearance for LCY ops.
