"can someone tell me why cardiff pac stats are falling when all other UK airports are rising with resident LCC's?"

Look at Birmingham, down this year!

Although with 4 LCC's this year we should be breaking 10 million passengers this year(hopefully)

You have to laugh really.

There have been so many rumours about CWL all based on 'fact'.

Nothing has materialised and it is now nearly March.
Oh well, see you all same time next year

Cardiff needs a LCC that is willing to expand rapidly

new routes like, Aberdeen, Germany, Southern Italy, Rome, Madrid need to be tested out.

Thumbs up

I suspect the market will start to develop further late in 2005 or early 2006.

Can I ask why you think during late 2005 and early 2006?

Interesting link.

The aviation development director at Bristol Airport is suggesting the possibility of a second daily Continental to EWR from this part of Britain which might operate from either BRS or CWL.

He also predicts that CWL and BRS will get other 'high profile' routes.

The report in the above link also states that CWL attracts about 9.5% of its total pax numbers from outside Wales.

I can remember reading that when I worked at CWL. All of us that read it just burst out laughing.
