passenger Category "X"

Can anyone help, please.

As compensation for being bumped off a Virgin Atlantic flight I have been offered flight return flight voucher which specifies passenger category "X".

What does this mean? And should I be wary of this?

Regards

Probably means you are a passenger who has been bumped off and for it not to happen again to you....

i was a bit sceptical when 6 of us got bumped off a VS from Miami a few years ago. thought the vouchers may be hard to use. but to give virgin their due, when i called to redeem the vouchers, the flights (school holidays to Orlando) were ok, they sent the tickets by return, and did not have to pay and fees or taxes - all free.
have not been lucky enough to get bumped off since !!
