The northwest of England is to get a AIR SERVICES DEVELOPMENT FUND similar to the one set up in Scotland. It is to be set up by the Northwest Development Agency.

Daza, why don't you ask the West Midlands Development Agency?

Assuming there is one.

Yes, your both probably right on all counts, Liverpool doesn't have the millions Manchester has for back handers, so is unable to compete on a level playing field.

[Yes, your both probably right on all counts, Liverpool doesn't have the millions Manchester has for back handers, so is unable to compete on a level playing field].

There are lots of reasons that Liverpool can't compete on a level playing field. Lack of Travel Infrastructure, Lack of Ramp space, Lack of Airlines wanting to start services are just some of them.

It aint about back handers its about being able to handle the traffic should it want to start.

Liverpool has done well to get where it is today from where it was 10 years ago, trouble is where can you see it going from here??

Answers on a postcard to :-

O No that Liverpool vs Manchester thing has started again
