BA cancels LHR-CCS-BOG and LHR-Bilbao

I thought CCS-BOG was doing quite well on this route, or is this BA needing the slots at LHR?

Could this be the start of the closer integration/consolidation of routes with Iberia to and from South America.

Indeed this is; as it has been on the cards for the last 18 months or more. It is also in the plan to eventually transfer the whole of the South American BA routes to IB.
