BMI Austin Reid resigns-beginning of the end?

Any thoughts? He must really enjoy what he's doing...first one leaving the sinking ship?
Overhead costs of BMI must be very high- Castle Donington-...

Not all bad news, then, IMHO.

Once he's grabbed his pension pot, any bets on the future safety of the final salary pension scheme?

In a statement to employees yesterday, Sir Michael said: "Austin has made an immensely important contribution to the development of the BMI group over the past 19 years and we all wish him a healthy, lengthy and happy retirement.
I'm one, and he didn't tell me anything!

Better than AR anyway --- he regularly seemed to tell the opposite of what eventually happened!
