FJE 767

Good news if it is true. Be interested to know where the rumour came from. The routes would be Accra and Amritsar and any other ad hoc work that the 757 would struggle with

What about the two additional B757's that are 'Planned for 04' as on the Flyjet website

There were rumours (don't ya just love 'em! ) that the FJE B763 may well be doing Birmingham to Canada charters, possibly originating in the East somewhere.

I suppose the often stationary 757 will then be used to ferry crew out from the terminal to this unit !!!!

No-one likes to see any airline have probs...but others gain from others misfortunate so any LGW based 76 operator may well be looking forward to times ahead

There are enough ambulance chasers on this thread to ensure that any misfortune is capitalised upon quickly, I'm quite sure.

Thomas Cook, I was thinking MyTravel as well. At the time they released the newa about getting shot of the Boeings didnt they say they were in talks with "a UK operator" regarding taking one of their 767s? Or have they found other homes....?

Aren't Flyblue going to be in the market for a 767 (or an airline to operate a 767 for them) very soon? I heard a rumour that they too were hoping to get the Birmingham - Amritsar business as they only intend flying 3 or 4 days a week scheduled.

Although, I would imagine the Amritsar would go to FJE purely as they have the experience of running that route already.

Currently, Slovak Airlines are flying Birmingham - Amritsar with an ex TWA B762.

I understand that Flyblu have no plans to go East from BHX, only west (when & IF they ever start up!!)

There is talk of the Midland Air 767 doing some flying out of Poland shortly on behalf of a company called White Eagle?
