Ghana operated out of DUS yesterday, albeit with an A320 (or A321 - can't remember now) operated by Aeroflight. A few days prior it was with somebody else's A310.

So the DUS flight has actually left? A local Holiday Inn must have made loadsamoney (that is, if they ever get to see it ) over the last couple of days, as pax waiting for that flight to Accra had been put up there, it's been all over the local news in Cologne earlier this week. Some unlucky souls had allegedly been waiting in excess of 10 days.

Flyjet flights are operated on behalf of Ghana Travel Ltd - an independent tour operator based in Barnsley. Due to the problems encountered by Ghana Airways they are putting on as many flights to ACC as possible - in addition to their (still relatively new) regular programme - to soak up some of the stranded passengers.

Can someone please advise who else is providing ATOL cover for these flights as it appears that the current licence is not sufficient?

In my eye's that means that half of the pax are not covered should the tour operator fail?
