LGWAlan,
The flights are there Alan, but look under Aspro not Airtours. Also they are been sold on Olympic Holidays site aswell.
Northern Hero,
Which holiday company are the HER and FNC charters for? Can't find them anywhere?

I was thinking VRN = Varna? Maybe im wrong.
Ah your right, it is Verona. Still leaves me wondering about HER though, and where is the A319 coming from? Think you might be barking up the wrong tree.

I'm confused. I don't see any Heraklion flights in the advance summer 2005 timetable. We didn't have any last year either so I can't see it now but you never know.
All this talk of Astraeus, brokers, recruitment, WW, James Bond and Aston Martins is perplexing, to say the least ! An appeal to any employees of the operator(s) of the LBA Summer 2005 flying programme. Please step forward, identify your company and tell us where you're flying to and when.

We are in the final stages of establishing a programme for a based aircraft at LBA for Summer 2005. Certain elements of the programme are still subject to finalisation between us and the tour operators concerned, so I would add that speculation based upon them is unlikely to be particularly productive! However, we have already commenced cabin crew recruitment for the LBA base for Summer 2005.

Straight from the horses mouth as they say (no offense intended Jonathan).
So what were all the cryptic "James Bond" bits about then?
I'll still keep to my usual method of predicting LBAs summer charter programme - check the LBA website departures list from the first of May! Previous experience has shown that all other methods are highly unreliable.
Northern Hero
There don't seem to be any overnight rotations on Tue, Wed or Sun in your programme. Rather odd for the summer season or are these where the "subject to finalisation" part comes in?

I would have thought that the aircraft would struggle to operate a Sunday night flight given that it doesn't get back from Larnaca until around 02:30 on Monday morning before an 06:00 departure to Reus!
Surely it also needs some maintenance downtime somewhere....

Leeds might be shrinking!!
There could well be a delay in Jet2 move to checking hall B a leak has been discovered in the plumbing and at present 6000 gallons a day are being lost!! the problem is that they don't know where the leak is, other than under hall b and about 2m of concrete......hope they are not on a water meter!! hehe

I was just working from Northern Hero's list and I didn't have any times for the flights (thought they might be S to F too). With the times you supplied I agree there isn't enough time between the LCA and REU rotations for anything else.
So.......Tuesday and Wednesday?
Inkjet
Guess we should remember to keep our wellies in our hand luggage when we check-in rather than the hold luggage!

Folks - if we've got the man pulling the strings on the AEU deal coming on here and advising the speculation is hardly helping matters then perhaps it's time to heed the advice and talk about something else for a while. There's clearly a lot of work and effort going on behind the scenes to make this happen and credit is due to all concerned for making this happen. So why don't we let them get on with it and look forward in due course to hearing about the final schedule and the aircraft that will be used. The main thing is that *something* is happening so let's be grateful for that and I'm sure the fine detail will be there for all to see and debate soon.

682, fully agree, lets lay it to rest now and see what happens. The fact that people such as BBAE keep coming on here and going on about what type and stuff isnt helping, lets just wait until we see the a/c out on the apron at LBA.
INKJET - That sounds very interesting out Hall B, any idea when it will get sorted out?

We got a specialist team looking into it, we think that the contractors may have split a pipe during construction and thought bugger it just pour some concrete. We have now fitted an isolator valve out side Hall b on the block paving so that when/if we find the leak we can turn the water off. All the standard tests of listening poles have so far failed to trace the leak. The big worry is just how much sub soil damage is being done 200,000 gallons a month is an awful lot of water.
Looks like another week of stood around outside, just as the cold weather returns this week end!!
Cheers
