Ryanair beats BA.
Ryanair carried 2.2 million passengers in May, up 19% on the year-ago period. Load factor was 81%. The Irish budget airline noted that once again it surpassed British Airways, which carried 2.1 million passengers on its intra-European network in May, up just 0.3% on the year-ago period, with a load factor of 68%.

Is this more creative accounting by O'Leary? Last time he claimed he was the biggest intra-Europe carrier from the UK, beating BA. It was only on closer inspection that you discovered his statement was only true if you considered Dublin to be a part of the UK!

So what.
They charge £20- £100 (Roughly)
BA charge £79 - £300 (Roughly)
Ryanair might carry the pax but they ain't got the margins.
Check out the stock market - see who the suits favour.

Are the calculations based on pax actually carried or is it based on actual bookings. There's a difference of course. There will be an even bigger difference soon when MOL starts offloading wheelchair pax who haven't booked a chair
