bmi Regional into LHR

Hi all,

I'm a wee bit confused about bmi Regional's network into Heathrow. Looking at the schedules from ABZ, EDI and GLA all the routes are operated by A319/320 but having looked on airliners.net there are photos of ERJ135/145s flying into the Capital.

If anyone has info on what actually happens on what route that would be great.

Cheers,

HS

At weekends there are 8 departures by the Embraers from Heathrow, using Manchester and Leeds based aircraft. This includes flights from Heathrow to Brussels and Amsterdam. There are also some Fokkers used at weekends on routes they don't do in the week.

WHBM,

Oh right, so it's only the MAN and LBA based Embraers that do the LHR route. That does surprise me a little as I thought the thinner routes would be from Scotland. I suppose it does become quiet at the weekend from MAN.

This includes flights from Heathrow to Brussels and Amsterdam.
Does this mean the MAN and LBA Embraers do a W pattern for example, MAN/LHR/BRU/LHR/MAN?

Cheers,

HS

More complicated than that. Embraers did this weekend :

No 1 :

0635 6 581 MAN-LHR
0825 6 145 LHR-BRU
1120 6 146 BRU-LHR
1230 6 107 LHR-AMS
1530 6 108 AMS-LHR
2015 6 340 LHR-MME

0645 7 331 MME-LHR
0855 7 412 LHR-LBA
1055 7 413 LBA-LHR
1245 7 588 LHR-MAN

No 2 :

1520 6 591 MAN-LHR
1805 6 592 LHR-MAN

0635 7 581 MAN-LHR
0835 7 584 LHR-MAN

No 3 :

1015 7 629 EDI-BRU
1320 7 150 BRU-LHR
1355 7 149 LHR-BRU
1630 7 630 BRU-EDI

So now I look at it in detail I was wrong about Leeds. 2 from Manchester, 1 from Edinburgh.

Anorak off !

Cool

That's great info - much more complicated than I thought.

Cheers once again,

HS
