How are Germanwings???
Hi all, i'm flying with Germanwungs in July, and was wondering woh are they. I'm flying LGW-CGN-LGW.
How is the Service?
What a/c will be used on that route?
Is there assined seating??
I'm quite looking forward in flying with them, it will be a change from Easyjet or Flybe for me

Aircraft is an A319. Tell us how it was. It can never be worse than EZY!

I found them to be a much superior example of an LCC. Mixed fleet of Airbus A319/A320. Leather seats. Adequate seat pitch. Assigned seating. Good (paying) service. All in all, I, not an LCC fan except for Jetblue in the States, was quite impressed.
Actually, I think I got confused and misled you about the assigned seating. It may well have been the standard system where you get a numbered boarding card when checking in. So check-in early. However, the numbered card system is not used if the a/c is on a remote stand and you have to be bussed. Then it's every person for himself/herself, as I experienced returning with them from MXP. Still a good outfit though.
