Taca CEO murdered
English wire services haven't picked this up yet. Federico Bloch, Taca's CEO until this past Friday when he resigned for family reasons, was found murdered yesterday on a highway near San Salvador, El Salvador.
Taca's new CEO is Enrique Beltranea, an officer at Aviateca before it was merged into Grupo Taca.
RIP, Federico.

My most sincere condolences for his Family.
Definitely He was a great Bussiness man.
Great Loss for Central American Aviation Industry especially for Grupo TACA El Salvador.
But I would have to say.....Very, very dodgy situation there..
Dangerous area to live in.

Mysterious that four days after he resigns he shows up dead. More to come, I am certain. He was supposed to headline a conference on aviation in Latin America & the Caribbean next week in Miami, as well.
