Wizz changes
New on the Wizz website are flights to Budapest and Venice (Treviso) from Katowice, in addition to CIA, LTN, BGY and SXF.
However, Venice seems to have been squeezed in by reducing frequency to BGY (from 7 down to 4 per week, allowing 3 per week to TSF).
But how have they fitted in BUD, which clashes with the SXF schedule? There are not enough flights listed to utilise a second aircraft.
In my experience, the more successful operators set up a schedule and then fly it. The also-rans chop and change, never settling to a consistent pattern. Is it a bad sign to be changing schedules at this early stage?

Whatever happened to Wizz plans to operate @ STN?
I reckon that Malev & Sky Europe have sown up the
"new (central/eastern) Europe market" ex-STN
and I have no doubt the homebase LCCs have their eyes
set on Poland & Hungary too.
I had money on a launch Wizz ex-STN. Must had got a better deal ex-LTN.
I agree, the schedule/route changes are a concern.
Wizz have a good team. Best of luck to them.

Probably see SXF reduced to 3 x weekly over the next few days to allow for BUD.
Have not seen any advertising regarding their LON LTN ops and since ticket prices ex LTN all still seem to be at the lowest base price, virtually no take-up then. Hardly surprisng. Inbounds obviously fair slightly better.
Will this be another very short lived operation like HLX and others.
