Virgin to Dubai?
No, no, no. It's not a rumour, just a question!!
Have Virgin ever looked at operating to Dubai in the past? I'm surprised that they don't already have a route there as it seems that all London-Dubai flights with the likes of BA & Emirates are consistently full to the gunnels. I would have thought it was exactly the sort of place that Virgin would go to.
Just a thought!

I know that Virgin Holidays have been a big supporter of Emirates flights for their new Glasgow flights so looks like they might be getting their foot in the door - sniffing it out for future!!!!!
The thing ith the middle East is that so much goes onwards which is why all the MIddle Eastern flights do so well (Gulf, EK, Qatar, now Etihad) - and on such low cost bases with support from the states themselves......
BA obviously do really well and have grown their Middle Eastern presence over the past few years by linking most points to London
If VS believe they can steal this traffic from BA then good luck to them - and with their upper class suites they should have a chance.
Just don't know whether the place might become too saturated soon with people going their for breaks from the UK.....
You do have to wonder where Virgins next growth area is going to be though - they must have something cooking!!!!
By the way, Goodness Gracious Me, was the No, no, no at the start aimed at me? Why do you presume I would know what they are doing?
