concorde at Filton

Calling on any Bristol folk with a knowledge of filton. Can one actually get close to Concorde to get a decent photo. I was in the vicinity last week and couldn't fathom how you could get any closer than the dual carriage way at the eastern end of the airfield (ie miles away)

The golf course didn't seem to herald any photo oppotunities or didn't I look hard enough!

Got this crazy idea to visit all of them in their retirement homes.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I flew in there about a month back during IR training - we were told by the Ops chaps at BAe that it was open to walk in and around.
