EAE to start LCY - DUS

German regional EAE European Air Express is to start a twice week-daily LCY-DUS service on Apr. 19. Flights operated with ATR42-300. The DUS market was served from LCY by VLM Airlines between 1996 and early 2003, although the German gateways was MGL rather than DUS. As you will remember, EAE served LTN from MGL for a couple of years following the demise of Debonair and recently operated LCY-BRE as a step-gap measure until OLT took over.

There is also talk about a Dornier 328-100 service from LCY by Cirrus Airlines to Mannheim (MHG), although nothing confirmed yet. Cirrus Airlines apparently also looked into LCY-BRN, but decided against resuming the ex Swisswings service.
