Airport Fees

I am checking to find where to go for a short city break and all price quoted are airport tax excluded and they vary considerably. Does anyone can give some information regarding airport taxes. I am interested in both landing fees and all the other taxes collected by the airport.

I may as well fly to the cheaper destination!

Many of the low cost airlines will show you what proportion of the ticket price are taxes when you book on their web sites.
What they don't, and probably won't do, is tell you how much is the Government levied security charge, airport levied passenger handling charge and landing fee.

Whilst the Government charge is fixed, the airport charges vary according to what the airline has been able to negotiate with the airport operator - this is confidential material that only the airport taxi drivers would be able to tell you.
