Av News Freudian photo

This months Aviation News has run an article on Thomsonfly's impending EGBE operation.
It is accompanied by a photo with an artist's impression of the aircraft which was Maersk Air's G-MSKB.

The photo depicts the aircraft on Taxiway "Y" at EGBB.............does Av News know something we don't

Aviation News must have had somebody listening in down at the Warks Council meetings before they used that photo

Reading the council's report suggests that the airport has been far from compliant, and in particular with its clandestine attempts to lengthen the runway by the "back door". One comment is to resurface that area with a retarding surface. However, if they permit what has already been constructed to remain in situ, they talk about controlling its use so it may not be used to increase TODA etc. How will they do that. I can just see the TOM 737 backtracking 05 on a hotter than average summer day with a full load........now where will the a/c commander decide to do a 180 and commence the t/o run...................
