Islandsflug Expansion In The Uk

Hi there,

Have just seen advertisement on aviationjobsearch.com for cabin crew to be based at bristol / east midlands / newcastle for the summer season.

I think thats a big increase in work from just birmingham last year with a few other routes to three uk bases.

I had an interview with them last year and was successfull but it was all a bit rushed and 2wks to re locate from lgw to bhx....so declined the offer unfortunately.

i have heard that they are a fab company to work for....pay is ok and the aircraft are not too bad either....very relaxed and easy goin crew and the service is suppose to be very good too.

Its nice to see an airline enjoying a bit of success as it all seems doom and gloom in the aviation world sometimes.

i presume they are doing work for kosmar/goldensun/olympic holidays etc as that was there main contract last year.

work was on behalf of excel aviation.

does anyone know what the crew were doing during this winter at all.

WELL DONE "FLUGGER" AND LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU IN GATWICK SOMETIME !!!!!

cheers guys

Training conducted at base, salary slightly higher than industry norm. Contract only for 6 months but good experience for people who want to move from cabin crew to senior crew. Also recruiting for Dublin base s well 2 x 737 based there for summer flying programme.
