BMI F100's at LBA
BMI are now showing in the system 3 F100's based at Leeds from the start of the summer schedule.
Weekdays -
ac 1 operating 1x CDG and 2x GLA
ac 2 operating 3x EDI
ac 3 operating 4x LHR
The remaining two Embraers (a 135 and 145) are operating 2x CDG, 1x GLA, 3x BRU, 1x ORK and 1x JER
The Edinburgh represents a drop in frequency from 4 to 3 but a capacity increase of 100 seats per day in each direction.
On another subject - Flybe are only showing 3x LBA-BHD on a Q400 from the summer schedule, down from 4 at the moment.

Surely there's got to be more than two Smarties tubes for all that?
Not great news for Flybe, wonder if Rhonda backs this up?

JUST SO YOU KNOW
Flybe flts BE733/734 1100 flts have been canx untill end of March with them probably reinstating it for S04,
This is due to lack of sales, just done the figures for flts on 03rd & 04th for Flybe from LBA and not 1 flt above 44 for a 78 seater, it's a bit of a bummer,
Mind you Jet2's BFS route not doing much better 31 on LS291, 45 on LS293 and that's worse a 148 seater, the thing is with Jet2 the odd flt has a full load but others you could operate on J41 and still have spare seats, very strange.
But JAN & FEB have never been the best months for pax figures, in JET2's defence, they started the BFS route in NOV, people are saving up for XMAS, and now the're all skint after XMAS, it will be interesting to find out how they do in the height of SUMMER, hope they do very well.
CHEERS!!!!!!!!!!

Schedule is as follows, so yes it is just two Embraers:
F100 LHR x 4
F100 EDI x 3
F100 CDG-GLA-GLA
E145 GLA-JER-CDG-CDG
E135 BRU-ORK-BRU-BRU
Seems odd scheduling IMHO. A F100 on the first flight out to CDG, but a –145 on the other two begs the question ‘if you successfully fill the first flight, how do you get them back?’ GLA is the opposite way round, still just an Embraer on the peak morning flight but F100s on the others.
Bmi have also been advertising LBA flts in the local press recently, quoting GLA as 5 x daily but with no mention of the JER services. Strange. Then there was Inkjet’s cryptic comments about CPH (3rd time lucky perhaps?), “Germany” (again!) and a prop run to LCY

On the subject of load factors between BHD/BFS & LBA, surely the most important figure is the "break even" figure - whilst 44 occupied seats on a Flybe Q400 may not be particulary encouraging, is not the break even on this type quite low? (I'm led to believe around 25 but will stand corrected if anyone can confirm otherwise).
With regard to Jet 2, can anyone confirm the break even on a 737-300? Notice their introductory £1 fare on BFS has now been discontinued!
