The Government and and Airports

The government of our country has made it quite clear that the only solution to air travel in NORTHERN IRELAND is to expand the operations at BFS,and it should remain the major airport for the north.Londonderry as a a viable airfield will never work as it loses money every year and Belfast ****y is too close to a residential area to ever operate 24/7,SO bmi found to their cost, and a crap runway.Ba now operate 1route and Bmi operate 1route and that leaves Flybe who try to compete with EZY on Dash8 so having a minority share off a cut throat market.I think it leaves BHD in a much poorer state than BFS ever was ,even after BA and BMI pulled out......................................................... ..........................

Sorry to disappoint but not even worth expending the energy on a response apart from Glynn you seem to have lost the plot altogether - one could be forgiven for thinking these were the ravings of a madman! Perhaps its as well you're retiring - sounds like you need a rest!

As for you Chillwinston, no comment!

I suspect that GK's employers have opted for the bottle of whisk(e)y rather than the traditional gold watch to mark his retirement. And Two Ronnies? Noooo, definately Morecambe and Wise.
