Excel Airways Summer 2004
What are Excel's plans for Summer 04?
I know that aswell as their own fleet of 737/757/767 a/c they contract in other operators for the summer season. What are they using this summer?
I know that at LGW/MAN/GLA/NCL/BHX they will have their own aircraft based, but what about other UK/overseas stations? Word had it they were basing a/c at smaller airports to operate on their behalf.
In the past they have used airlines like Azzurra/Nordic/Atlanta/Hola/Islandsflug/Viking/ at BRS/STN/EMA and Heraklion.
It seems to me that XLA have their heads screwed on, by not having excess capacity in the quiet winter months. Seems like good business sense!
Oh is there no chance of a permanent base at NCL - fantastic place, growing dramatically??!!
