??The Future Of MYT??
Hello all, I am just posting concerning the future of Mytravel as near to the end of 2003 there were many posts revealing that this year could be "judgement year!" Has anyone got any further infromation to seal the fait of the airline. Surely if they were going down they wouldnt be purchasing these new aircraft willy-nilly!

The plan to "purchase" new aircraft was put in place a number of years ago.
The savings are considerable; lower lease rates for the new aircraft, lower maintenance costs, lower fuel burns, etc.
See this link, for some recent positive news about MYT.
Some might find your title to this thread rather "emotive"; the MYT staff could do with some cheering-up!

The future of MYT
Thesaurus,
The previous MYT MD was outraged when he found out that the new 320's were going to cost twice as much as the old ones, and almost four times as much as their 757's. Airbus had the contract sealed up so tightly there was no way to escape, so rolled overand gave in.
