The web-site does indeed look like a school project, although the company has been registered at companies house which perhaps suggests there is something more substantive behind it. No sign of an ATOL licence (either granted or applied for) as yet.
I doubt very much that the intention is to try and set up a standalone airline in its own right. Instead it will most likely be a chartered aircraft with seats being sold directly on a pseudo-scheduled basis and/or via travel agents and brokers (which is how Planetair operate).
The market is certainly there in Bradford and Calderdale and a lot of the current travel arrangements are made through the local independant travel agencies that specialise in travel to the Indian sub-con' Someone with experience of the market and contacts in these specialist travel agencies could be onto a winner, assuming they can find an operator to charter the aircraft from at a cost that doesn't prove prohibative.
