More RYR from PIK ?

Michael O'Leary visits PIK today. The new maintenance hangar is nearing completion.

What are the chances of new route announcements at the same time ?

My bets are Milan and one not often suggested Shannon.

Good shout Findo. Looking forward to seeing a game in the San Siro!

Does that mean the new aircraft are fully allocated, or is there still spare capacity?

I'm not clear if there will be the existing 3 x 732s plus 2 x 738s, or will some of the 732s be withdrawn?

Hi Sparky
Just to confirm RYR only have 4 based a/c 2-200`s and a pair of 800`s with at the moment 3-200`s stored on the north side.A quick look at the schedule would indicate that the STN run goes down to 8 a day from 10 and this makes up the spare capacity for the 2 new routes.Just did a quick search for SNN in Jan and it`s less than £13 return including the taxes!!
P.S. I think the Scottish Exec money is only being given for the Milan route

Does that make the new Milan service the longest Ryanair fly ?

I bet DUO are just a little miffed as they are shortly starting Milan - EDI and Ryanair have a massive Italian advertising base. I hope DUO survive but they were a bit silly to give so much advance notice of Milan as a destination.
