1, 2, 3, Go!
Absolutely marvellous. Straight over our house.
Had the scanner on so listening in. Have a safe flight Concorde. I will miss you. You bought tears to this household. The words "1,2,3 GO" will never be forgotten.
Smooth skies

Thanks

Saw BA 002 pass overhead just to the north of my house in Bristol at 1538 BST. Very lucky because the cloud was quite thick but there were enough gaps to see her.
Watched the live BBC 2 coverage from LHR but could not make out which aircraft worked the final flight from JFK today. I noted G-BOAF was the second to land (either the Edinburgh or the Biscay trip).
I was not over impressed with the television coverage, either the pictures or the comments from the BBC people (why could they not find someone who knows something about aviation?). Thank goodness for John Hutchinson who injected some professional comments.
