Start of new flight with RYR at Bournemouth today

Today was the start of the second flight a day to Prestwick

They used new scheme 737-800.

Has any body heard any thing if Bournemouth - Frankfurt Hahn will be restarted in the summer.

Bournemouth - Gerona starts next week about time.

Good news for Bournemouth

Hello
Why is the BOH-FRA route being dropped? I thought it was a well performing route and there does not seem to be any annoncement of its withdrawal on Ryanair's website-why?

The Frankfurt route was dropped because the aircraft is being used for a new route out of Hahn from 25 Oct
The Hahn route has done well in the summer but like most routes obviously suffered a bit in the winter but i think the load factor was about 70% in winter not bad i think for BOH !!
Obviously remains to be seen if it is reintoduced next summer

Slightly off track but still on BOH , Palmair look to be changing there aircraft next summer from 737 200 to 737 300 in a 142seat config and increasing services to various med destinations which can only be good news ! ( start using those brand new 12 checkin desks a bit more all we need now is another low cost carrier to put there faith in BOH again )

Im sure that NO annoucements are on the Website for Dropped flights, seems like a bad advert to us.

The larger palmair plane will be from European when they recieve the 737-300s from possibly Lufthansa

Aren't Palmair and European now sister companies?

Palmair are the Charter wing of Bath Travel, specialising in package holidays and day trips from BOH. Bath Travel have a share in European so I guess you're correct in calling them sister companies.

Will be glad to see the back of the 200's. Noisy things.
