record numbers of passengers

had a quick flick through recent threads, but didn't see this BBC website business section headline reported,

Airports are getting busier
The seven UK airports controlled by BAA saw record numbers of passengers last month, the company has announced

headline from BBC website. So now we know the 'all flights full' observation of many airline staff are true whilst adding a lot of weigt to the view that the post 9/11 blues so often quoted by the airlines is an out of date exscuse for pushing though modernisation (sorry, cost cuts).
