Prestwick Programme 04

What do you think we could get at PIK next year,
Heres my suggestions. 6xRYR 737-8/2 with 4 already here
2xWW 737-5/3
1xJet2 737-3

With new routes to,

Amsterdam LS
Geneva WW
Prague WW
Alicante LS
Bergamo RYR
Lubek RYR
Paris CdG WW
Belfast RYR/WW
East Midlands WW
Leeds Bradford LS
Moscow RYR
Munich ST-Germania
Suttgart ST-Germania
Cork RE
Waterford RE

and increase on

Barcelona Girona to 2xdaily
Stockholm Skavsta 2xdaily
frankfurt Hahn 2xdaily
Cardiff 3xdaily

Now that would be something to look upon.

Kris

If Jet 2 do start then I think, in addition to the expected Amsterdam, they will move to replace the sucessful daily Palma vacated by flyGlobespan.

The new Ryanairs are quoted more likely to be Italy - Rome would be a good replacement for Globespan but a link to their hub at Milan would be more likely. Southern France and Spain are also being lined up. Jerez for Spain ?

Interesting that Zoom may move to Manchester and make their link up with Globespan a non starter at GLA. I would still bet on some services next year from PIK and if they do not link trans Atlantic at Glasgow then a full programme again next year from PIK.

The rest of the destinations look a bit premature.

Angel

With regard to Belfast, Ryanair still to decide if they are going to operate into Belfast at all and, if so, which airport. Not sure about bmibaby - in any event this would be a very short sector for a B737 - Prestwick was tried before from BHD by Gill a few years ago but fares were prohibitive.
