Find that hard to believe seeing that they don’t serve either of those English airports at the moment.

Ryanair could try a Carlisle [Newcastle] - only 50 miles apart.

Easyjet MAN

Easyjet held an employment roadshow at the Radisson hotel, Manchester Airport, today !

Was this just a convenient location or a sign of future intentions ?

Would be nice but really; Why would easyJet pay the higher rates at MAN when they have a base just 30 miles up the motorway where the handling fees are substantialy lower than at MAN? And remember, If MAN is considered close enough to Liverpool to be considered a gateway for that city, then the same applies in reverse.

Hi,
Four of easyJet Switzerland's 737-300s will return to the UK from mid-August ahead of the delivery of five A319s.
Would you say that this could strengthen the MAN and BHX rumours. Two of these four a/c could be based at Manchester and Birmingham Prehaps to operate to Naples?

Thanks

'Could' do a lot of things! It may happen or it may not.

Here is a quote from easyJet earlier this year A spokeswoman for easyJet said yesterday there would be no question of the company switching any of its business from JLA to Manchester.

"We have a fantastic relationship with Liverpool - we currently operate about 10 routes from there, so having another base so close competing in the same market would be very difficult and expensive."

The article, which incidentally Ryanair has an input to, can be found at http://icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk/0...l&siteid=50061

Also I doubt easyJet Switzerland will send any of its 737's anywhere until its Airbus's are ready for passengers, the latest date being towards the end of September. Even then they will not send them back to the UK en masse.

easyJet have confirmed that four of the five 737-300s operated by easyJet Switzerland will be returned to the UK in mid-August and the will be covered by UK based a/c until the A319s arrive.

Thanks
