A330/340 Operators at MAN

Which airlines fly A330's/A340's into Manchester?

Do any operators base their 330's/340's at MAN?

Thanx very much in advance for your help.

I thought I wouldn't order a Personal Title to help offset the many thousands of pounds a month it costs to run PPRuNe. Nah... I'll just sit here and moan about it.

Not forgetting MyTravel's A330's where a few are based. Plus Monarch and Thomas Cook both base an A330 at MAN.

What about the daily USair A330 and I believe that BWIA will soon change to A340 operation.

EK went double daily on 1st June. Qatar Airways were planning to replace their A300s with A330s from next February but I haven't seen any news confirming this.

And EK are doing 3 x daily to Dubai on the 20th, 21st and 22nd of September with the additional flights being operated by 772's. Loads must be doing extremely well on the double daily flights to require even more capacity now and then!

The extra flights are not listed as bookable on the EK website..I believe they may be trooping flights.

Though one cannot say that they may not need extra capacity or frequency in the future.

The extra EK MAN flights are to bring Gulf students back to the UK for the forthcoming semester.

Cyprus A/W A330's are not regular visitors to MAN.

Their flights are ops A320, although I understand that an A330 did divert into MAN from LHR last week.

Likewise, Iberworld A330s do not usually operate from MAN, although they do sometimes visit MyTech for maintenance.

Cyprus Airways A332's are programmed to operate MAN's Saturday rotation this Winter. Things could change, of course.
