Air Southwest latest

Latest gossip down our way is that Air Southwest will announce PLY-BRS-MAN in the next few weeks, with a few BRS-MAN rotations.
NQY-PLY-LGW fares are supposed to start around 20-30 quid, with PLY-BRS rumoured to be a tenner. Believe it when I see it.

Nice one! Fingers' crossed it actually happens.

£10 PLH-BRS? One-way or return? Including tax?

May they go from strength to strength, I for one will be a regular passenger Newquay to London if the fares are around £100 -£120 return or less. Over that I will take the Ryanair at peanuts and suffer an 0645 departure from Stansted or drive!

Unhappy Air SouthWest - Jobs

The best of Luck to Air SouthWest.

But what jobs have they got - I posted a reply to another posting, about the possibility of jobs with them......
Who have they employed ex-City Express/Brymon employees from Weston-Super-Mare (Brymon HQ)?

I received a standard Thanks, but no Thanks letter. A little annoying as I would give my eye-teeth to move back to the South West.

Has anyone got anymore infirmation. Would very much appreciate some more information.

Mad Air

I'm interested that you got a letter, even if it wasn't the one you wanted. I haven't heard a thing. Surely there can't be that many Dash8 pilots available out there.

Hope you get back to the South West.

Pirate,

I sent them an e-mail but have heard nothing, however, on the grapevine, I hear that the ex Citiexpress people have been taken on.

Word has it that Pilot selection is about to start, now that there's a Chief Pilot. Where are they going to come from? Will many transfer permanently from the current operation?

Jobs at Southwest

Is there any information on "Ground" jobs , from handling to maintenance . Who is recruiting for these rolls at Plymouth ????

I know lots of people that dispersed at the end of the Brymon Era who are desperate to get back to the West country in any role.
