Plane crash near Germiston (RSA)
A light aircraft crashed near the PPC cement factory in Germiston south-east of Johannesburg on Friday morning.
Rand Airport manager Andre Wehmeyer said the plane lost power during a training flight and had to do an emergency landing. The pilot and the student escaped unhurt. Wehmeyer said the Civil Aviation would investigate the cause of the accident. |
Does anyone have any more news on this?
I did my training at Rand and would be interested to know, which aircraft , school and instructor were involved. Congratulations on walking away from this to those involved as I know there's not a lot of room there for a forced landing. Thanks |
