I have 200tt and they told me no work permit, and they did not give me their policy form, actually i do not know the name of that lady at the third flour at AVIATION HOUSE, can you help me?

afraid I cant help as I think the lady is Zawadi, in the regs it does say 1000hrs are needed to convert however this is the first I've heard of them enforcing this rule. I guess the TCAA are getting pressure from the unemployed pilots union.

It took me a whole 2 seconds to come up with those links. Get serious and do your own homework boy. All the info is on the web. There's no reason why a pilot coming to Tanzania oughta be so clueless n unprepared, unless they lazy... guess which CVs we toss in the trash

MML, i hope you're a patient guy. As a 250-hour expat pilot, in the order of pilot employability, you are behind those in the TANZANIAN PILOT ASSOCIATION, and let me tell you they aren't having much luck either. 1000TT happens to be the magic number for pilot employability. Personally, unless you have atleast a couple hundred hours in a 206, I wouldn't recommend coming here.

With 2019 knocking the doors and the last post in this thread being 2013, I was wondering if one could give an updated information about converting Canadian License to Tanzanian one. Also,what are the job prospects in Tanzania for someone with less than the 1000 hours mentioned earlier in this thread.
