Margate - FAMG

Hello, any recommendation to operate or NOT a Falcon 900 in FAMG, Margate ?

WrldWide 10th Nov 2012 12:40

If you can "safely" get a 900 in with 3500-3900 ft and as importantly get it out in that, balanced field length, then why are you asking? Good luck, I couldn't bring my ride in there. Well, I could get in in but couldn't get it out very easily.

Thank you WrldWide to share your experience.

I think I posted wrong. What I would ask is. Is the runway ok ? Any operations on that runway with any Falcon or Jets ? That's is my question.

This is not an international airport, and probably only locals land there. So, I would like to know if someone had experience on that runway.

In the other hand, I have my numbers and I know if the airplane can land and takeoff from there AND if I want to do it. Best regards.

You won't have a problem at all. Margate airport was under the control of a south African airline up until not so long ago....runway is fine.

PCN vs ACN

I think that your planning should include a check of the PCN values for the runway and taxiways and compare it to the Falcon's ACN data. Is that what you were perhaps referring to?
