I would also like to know what is happening with Executive Aerospace. Just because!!!!

LittleMo 5th Jun 2007 06:55

Anyone know what happening at aerospace? Iheard the sheriff was around there with his clipboard a month or so ago but since all has been quiet. Maybe he took one of the SLK's...:}

Fall Out Boy 5th Jun 2007 17:46

rumour has it there is only 1 slk left...

seriously though, staff and crew have not been paid now for 4 months! and the once mighty 748's look a very sad sight sight these days. :(

And the sheriff story is true, but he doesn't seem to do much on any of his vists, just like the DoL sending letters to exec, or any other compaines that just ignore the letters....

kaswili 9th Jun 2007 13:40

Definate exec. One of their Cabin Crew employed as our new Cabin Services Manager. Got it from the horse's mouth....

would appreciate if you could post more info about what is going on at Executive Aerospace, as a lot of us got a break from that dude there. Thanks

Remember what KR has done for aviation!

Aviation in SA is a cut-throat business and survival is never guaranteed. If Exec Aero is going down the tubes, better to remember Exec and KR for what they have done for SA aviation, and especially pilots in SA, than for their current dilemma. Countless pilots received their career break via Exec. I hope that KR is able to recover and stay in aviation. As for those who constantly berate aviation company owners for the salaries they earn and the cars they drive, remember that it is these owners who are taking the risk associated with running a business and, as long as they are honest individuals, their intent is never to run the business into the ground. Sometimes circumstances and the dynamics of the aviation industry simply railroad them into bankruptcy!

Fall Out Boy 11th Jun 2007 11:45

aviation company owners

as long as they are honest individuals

A bit of an oxymoron there I think.....

TooBadSoSad 11th Jun 2007 17:44

That's a pretty righteous statement there, Fall Out Boy!! :=

SnapsProvolone 11th Jun 2007 21:58

Exec Aero

A well-established company does not find itself in this situation by accident, it is put there by its management or lack thereof :ugh:. Consider that the employees are kept in the dark about salaries and the status of the company:oh:. Whatever happened to transparency and accountability?:suspect::=. To fob off the criticism because guys received their big break at exec is an archaic sentiment. It is not what has gone before that judgment is made, we are all judged by our actions today why should Exec be any different. It has become a shadow of its former self and now its consigned to the knackers-yard.

Seeing as some avaition company owners like to give the impression they are whiteter than white, lets all send a box of omo for those stubborn stains.

LittleMo 12th Jun 2007 08:40

Let the company owners drive what they like and live in huge mansions. Afterall, thats why they got into the business in the first place. Give them the repect due for giving young pilots their 'break' in aviation. BUT, this is only ok if it isn't done at the expense of their employees. KR shouldn't be rolling around in SLK's if he hasn't paid his crews and his creditors. He is totally disregarding the suffering and hardship he has caused in the pursuit of maintaining his lifestyle. I hope the lawyers nail him and everyone gets their due...

WhinerLiner 12th Jun 2007 08:49

Not paid for the first month, shame on the company. Not paid for the second, what the hell are you still doing there?!? If anyone hangs around for 4 months without being paid they probably shouldn't expect too much sympathy

V35B 12th Jun 2007 09:34

Some strong words there little Mo, hope i get to meet you one day...

LittleMo 12th Jun 2007 10:06

V35: If my words are in anyway inaccurate or are unfair and you can prove them so, I will gladly remove them. All I said is that I hope people get their DUE. Nothing more nothing less. I know 1st hand how deep the rot goes and how much people have suffered. I don't think it is fair for some to lose their houses while the big man enjoys his mansion in the UK and all the other properties and perks.
Glad the attachment order on one of the aircraft (the Hawker I PRESUME?) has gone through. Also I see one of the pilots got some money out. At least people are finally getting what is owed to them. It is my sincere hope that more happy endings will follow.

Would be interested in what exactly you think you could do if one day you did meet me...

V35B 12th Jun 2007 12:24

Dont get me wrong im not trying to justify thats it is ok to not pay salaries and creditors etc. I would however like to point out that if a company goes through hard times its not always entirely the fault of the MD, sometimes there are unforseen circumstances. In the case of exec they are fighting to stay allive so they can pay all the salaries and keep the pilots flying etc etc, i think many another company may have already been closed by now, which is why i think the negative comment is slightly harsh and should rather be focused more positively. (just my opinion)

As far as i know little mo, KR does not own any property in the uk or anywhere oversees for that matter.

Auscoaster 12th Jun 2007 19:09

Perhaps if he was working on the best interests of his company and not which female he could "nab", he would have seen this coming but, i guess he still believes that the money will be coming in from the bank.

I agree that Exec helped alot of people get to where they are now but, it didn't have to fall like it has and it is an absolute shame.

skycap 12th Jun 2007 23:26

Auscoaster

Too true, females were always his priority!!

Kr has always had the "gift of the gab" and hope he can pull this one off again to keep the company going to pay his staff and settle his debts.

Are they still operating or they have been suspended?

oerlikon 12th Jun 2007 23:34

As far as I know. Doors shut.

V35B 13th Jun 2007 07:14
