Executive Aerospace

Does anyone know much about Exec? Good company to fly for and how do they pay?

I didn't fly for them but I know a few guys who have and they seem like a really nice company. I have met some of their senior pilots and they seem like an bunch of guys to work with.

Exec Turbine closing the door? Or is it Executive Aerospace?

Don't scream at me ... this IS a rumour network...Heard this evening that Exec Turbine might have shut up shop...
I sincerely hope that it's a lot of Bx... I don't work with them but whatever anyone thinks about the company it would be a very bad thing for those working there and SA aviation as a whole...

Unlikely from this side too, perhaps close a division or two down but not ET as a whole...

Same as NAC... some financial probs gonna get them down for awhile. Will come through it tho'.

ET is doing Ok as far as I know apart from a few cash flow glitches, its business as usual...

ET

I heard there may be some Dash 8's in the pipeline!? Maybe even another low cost airline entering the market?

KR, would you be able to tell us what happened between your company and SAX on the coastal routes? Rumour is that they were forced to cancel your contract at very short notice and hence the chaos that followed the next day.

Word on the street is that the crew have not been paid either. Doesn't sound good.

Despite recent assurances - ET have not/are not (some) paying suppliers either.

Update: We've now been paid in full.

I think the rumour got a bit twisted - word on the street is that it's Exec Aerospace that's going down. I've heard from a mate that works there that they have not been paid this last month.

This gets me back to my pet hate - aviation employers abusing pilots. A company like EA does not suddenly find itself in financial trouble overnight - so why only inform your crew a day or two before payday that you can't pay them? A considerate employer would have given his staff a bit of warning to tighten their belts because there may not be money at the end of the month. It would be interesting to find out if KR also did not pay himself / family / top managers this month.

I'll bet KR is still expecting all his crew to be available to him, just in case he picks up a last minute charter flight or two. He probably also expects two months notice from anyone wanting to leave, so that they can earn a bit of cash elsewhere.

EA has been in financial trouble for a while now. Its has gradually just gotten worse. To the extent where you wonder if they will ever recover from this. Yes, their crew have not been paid before but, rumour is that it's their suppliers too and it doesn't look like a recovery is likely this time.

Well said FFFrentit!

No doubt he got paid and all the other big knobs.

FFFrentit has actually put it nicely in a nutshell , speaking to some of the guys there, even mildly at that .

Will the truth ever be known
