Bangui

As you are all probably aware, Bangui was subject to a Coup on
15th March.

There were only 3 South African drivers based in Bangui at the time and, essentially, the three of us were "cleaned out" by the the so-called Rebels.

I, personally, did not lose much in terms of lost cash (SA Rands) but, but one of the other drivers, lost a substantial amount of Rands. These looted Rands have now found their way to some local who hangs out at the entrance of the Briefing office and is desperately trying to peddle this money to anyone who flies in with a ZS registered aerrie. (You will know who he is 'cos, he has no idea what the exchange rate is to CFA)

To those of you who fly in to FEFF, please do us all a favour by not buying these Rands off him - no matter what rate they are offered to you.

Much obliged, and thanks for listening,

Cheers
